General Questions:

  1. How do I know if the camps are full?   When registering online, any closed sessions will show an important message saying you will be wait-listed if you enroll.  Camps which are still open will be listed as available.  
  2. Do you prorate fees for the camps if my child attends only a portion of the camp?  No.  A full registration is required even if your camper can only attend a portion of the camp . 
  3. What if my child is sick and cannot come to camp?   Please notify the Camp Director, or the Director of Summer Programs so that we know not to expect you on that day.
  4. What if my child is taking medications?  Complete the medicine letter requesting the administration of medication at camp. The medications should be given to the Camp Director with the Doctor's orders so the medicine can be administered during camp.  No medications may be administered unless a written authorization is provided by a doctor.
  5. If my child attends the school, am I still required to complete the medical part of the registration form?   Yes. Our forms and information are kept separate from the school.
  6. How is lunch handled?  What about snacks?  For all full day camps at the Upper School, lunch will be provided.  Most days will have a break time when snacks can eaten.  Bring your own or purchase some from our snack bar.  Any campers staying for PM Extended Day are encouraged to bring snacks as well.
  7. Campus Visits:  I would like to visit the campus and meet the key staff before I register. Is this possible?  Yes, just contact us and we can set up a time.

Registration and Payment Questions:

  1. What if I am having trouble with registration?   For technical problems, contact  CampWise Technical Support at 866-433-4548.   Or you may contact AACS Summer Programs for support at 410-519-5300, x149.
  2. I want to change from one camp to another.  What are the procedures to do this and what is the cost?   Call or email us to let us know of the change.  We encourage parents to carefully examine the camps before registering to eliminate the need for any changes. 
  3. When is the final payment due?    Final payment is due before your child is allowed to attend camp. 
  4. What is your refund policy in case my summer plans change?  The $100 deposit due with registration is non-refundable.  Additional payments can be refunded on a case by case basis. 

Questions on Drop-Off, Pick-Up and Extended Day:

  1. What camps and which ages is the ED for?  Extended Day is available for campers of all ages who are attending camp at the Upper School.  All campers of all ages must be picked up at the conclusion of camp or they will be sent to Extended Day and a fee will be assessed.
  2. Can I sign my camper up for the whole week of ED, morning and afternoon?   Yes, this is the best and most economical way to register for ED.  The fee for the morning ED is $30 for one week. It begins at 7:30 am.  The fee for the afternoon session is $45 and it runs from the end of camp until 6:00 pm.  The cost of both AM and PM ED is $60 for the week.
  3. What if I only want to sign up for one day, or use the ED on a case-by-case basis?   Not a problem.  The fee is $10 cash due upon morning drop-off and $15 cash due upon afternoon pick-up, per day.
  4. What if I am late picking up my child?   All children picked up after 4:15 pm will be sent to ED and a fee of $15 cash will be assessed.  All children picked up after 6:00pm will be charged $10 for every 10 minutes after 6:00pm, which must be paid in cash.

Questions about Bus Transportation from the Middle School to the Upper School:

  1. What Bus Service is provided and what is the cost?   The daily shuttle service runs from the Middle School to the Upper School, with multiple stops along the way.  The cost is $60 for the week. This service is only offered to any campers enrolled in a full day camp at Severn Run.  The bus will be one of the school buses used for the Annapolis Area Christian School day school program and the bus drivers are fully certified and licensed school bus drivers. The transportation that takes the Eagles Explorations campers to the pool is included in the cost of camp.
  2. What time does the Middle School to Upper School shuttle run?   The bus will depart from the Middle School Campus at 8:00am and return at 4:45pm.
  3. What happens if I am late and miss the bus?  You will need to transport your children to the Upper School.

Questions about Eagles Explorations

  1. Are the Eagles Camps fully state certified?   Yes. Our Eagles Explorations programs fully comply with the rigorous standards are fully certified by the State of Maryland Department of Health and Mental Hygiene.
  2. What drop off and pick up security do you have?   Cars will follow a carline loop for camper safety each morning and afternoon.  Parents/Guardians will be given a car pass at drop off the first day of Camp.
  3. What happens if I need to pick up my camper early?   Contact a staff member at the start of the day informing the time of the child's dismissal.  With the use of a walkie-talkie system, each staff member will be accessible from the main office and with each other.
  4. What about sunburn?     Campers may only apply sunscreen at camp if the sunscreen form is completed.  We encourage parents to apply sunscreen to your child before dropping your child off.
  5. Can you switch from one session of Eagles to another?   Yes, but registration is limited and are based on a first come, first serve basis, so there is a possibility the camp will be filled.
  6. Is there trained medical personnel available?   Yes, there will a full time certified nurse at the Upper School each day.
  7. What do you do when there is excessive heat or other inclement weather?   We have access to state of the art indoor facilities which will be used during this time.
  8. Which pool does the Eagles Program go to?   Spy Aquatics in Severna Park. 
  9. Do the Discoverers go to the pool as well?    No, the Discoverers will stay back with group counselors to participate in an on campus water day.
