AACS is seeking outstanding people to work in the Eagles Exploration Summer Camp Program. Our program offers science, art, film making, photography, computer programming, a variety of sports and an extensive counselor in training program. Our camp is located on AACS' 62 acre campus in Severn, Maryland. We are looking to build upon the exceptional team of educators already working in the program. We want to hire people who are committed to making our summer programs the best in Anne Arundel County. Dates of Employment:
- Camp starts on June 14th and ends on August 6th.
- All employees must attend two pre-camp orientations occuring in early June.
Potential Positions Available:
- Lead Group Counselors
- Discoverer age group: 4-5 year olds
- Flyers age group: 6-7 year olds
- Voyager age group: 8-10 year olds
- Trailblazer age group: 11-13
- Counselors in Training: 14-16 year olds
- Junior Counselors (ages 17-18)
- Photography/Photoshop Coordinator
- Fine Arts Coordinator
- Sports Coordinator
- Tennis Coordinator
- Certified Nurse
Qualifications/Expectations:
- Experience that demonstrates excitement, passion, energy and a love of children.
- Criminal background check required.
- Willingness to take a drug/alcohol test on request.
